The Principle of Adaptation

"To go against the evolution of things is to go against yourself."

This principle explains that when we clearly know beforehand the outcome of a situation, the correct attitude to take is to accept this outcome as completely as possible, trying to take advantage of even its unfavorable aspects. What this Principle means will become clear if we examine moments in our life when we did not take this Principle into account and acted against it. It would be even more interesting to reflect on the moment in which we are now living and study the consequences, for ourselves and for those close to us, if we do not apply this principle.

With this Principle, we are explaining that we should not oppose those things that are truly inevitable. If the human being, for example, had thought that diseases were inevitable, medical science would never have advanced. Because of our need to resolve problems and because we can do so, humanity progresses. If a person is alone in the desert, is it inevitable that he will die? No, because that person will make every effort to find a way out of his situation and, in effect, will find an oasis or will be found by others if he uses all of his resources and makes every effort to be seen at a distance. Therefore, if this principle is to be applied correctly, it must be used only in situations that we know are truly inevitable.
